- He consolidated his orchestra in 1934, which marks his first stage appearance
- 1961 marks a pivotal moment in Calo's career - he created the orchestra Miguel Caló y su Orquesta de las Estrellas (Miguel Caló and his All Star Orchestra)

- This orchestra will be remembered as one of the best tango orchestras
- The orchestra broke up in 1945 and the artists went to other orchestras, none of which were considered as good
